OTTAWA BLUES CHARITY CLASSIC 2025

 Now in its 13th year, the Ottawa Blues Charity Classic is a co-ed frontline soccer tournament that brings together emergency service professionals, their families, and supporters. All proceeds support youth mentorship, literacy, and sports programs through the National Capital Blues Foundation. 

Tournament Details

Dates: Thursday & Friday, October 16–17, 2025

Times: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM each day

Venue: Ben Franklin Superdome, 191 Knoxdale Rd, Ottawa

Format: Rec & comp Co-Ed, round robin + playoffs

Eligibility: Emergency service members

 Yes, we will have a Grilled Cheese truck on site providing lunch (at cost) from 11:30am until 1:30pm.

 Yes, we will have sweaters, t-shirts and hats available. 

 We will have our Ceremony start at 12:15 to honour Cst. Czapnik and his family. There will be no games being played from 12-1pm, allowing teams to eat and be present for this.

 There will be no less than two 60 min games per team. Game schedules will be released closer to the tournament date. 

  We will have a Captains only group chat created this year via What's App. Which will allow for quicker and more convenient communications day to day and leading up to the event. We will be able to update standings, send links and have more free communication.
