Resilience Lab

The Resilience Lab is a dynamic, youth-centered program designed to build confidence, leadership, and emotional strength in young people across Ottawa. Through mentorship and structured skill-building, participants develop the tools they need to navigate challenges, build healthy routines, and reach their full potential.

Rooted in community and guided by positive role models, the program creates a safe and supportive environment where youth can grow, connect, and thrive.

Program Breakdown


The Resilience Lab is delivered through a structured six-session journey, each focused-on building essential life and leadership skills.

What it is

Resilience Lab supports youth who may be navigating stress, change, or barriers to opportunity. Through consistent mentorship and guided activities, participants practice real-life skillsโ€”like goal-setting, communication, and problem-solvingโ€”while feeling seen, safe, and supported.

What to expect in Resilience Lab

We meet youth where they are. Sessions blend movement, mentorship, and guided reflectionโ€”so skills feel practical, not theoretical.

Mentorship & check-ins

Consistent, caring adults and near-peer mentors build trust through regular check-ins and encouragement.


Skill-building activities

Interactive exercises focused on goal-setting, emotional regulation, communication, and conflict resolution.


Positive routines

Structured play and teamwork that reinforce healthy habits, belonging, and confidence.


Community connection

Youth learn how to access supports and opportunitiesโ€”at school, in sport, and across Ottawa.
